Colégio Bandeirantes de São Paulo
Colégio Bandeirantes is a private secondary school located in São Paulo, opened in 1934. The school has students from many parts of the city and also from different states of Brazil.
It is a co-educational, privately funded institution which offers middle school and senior high programs to 2,770 students.
As a very competitive school, the students are ranked and placed in different classrooms according to the final average grade of the previous year. The students are college-oriented and regarded as high achievers, helping to build the school's fame and to keep up its standards.
During Junior and Senior years, the students are divided between three areas of study: Biological Sciences, Mathematical Sciences and Humanities. The Humanities course was added to the school's portfolio during the 1990s and was elaborated by thinker and journalist Gilberto Dimenstein.

Bandeirantes' president director, Mauro de Salles Aguiar, also participates in the advisory council of São Paulo's Harvard office.
